Recently, the near-term greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets submitted by Nanjing COSMOS Chemical Co., Ltd. have successfully passed the rigorous technical validation of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and have been officially approved. This milestone marks the alignment of the company's low-carbon transition with the 1.5°C goal of the Paris Agreement, demonstrating COSMOS’ steadfast commitment and pragmatic actions in pursuing sustainable development as a globally-minded supplier in the personal care ingredients and solutions sector.

The approved emission reduction targets fully cover Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions, reflecting COSMOS' determination and strategic planning to systematically advance emission reduction efforts through scientific methods, from its own operations to the entire upstream and downstream value chain.
